The Tube-Tech SMC 2B is an exceptional multiband compressor, which makes this plugin even more impressive. There is a subtle difference, there always is. But I would challenge anyone to choose between the two and definitively say one is better than the other. Both sound incredible and the plugin does capture everything that is great about the hardware whilst adding some additional features not found on the hardware.
