Blue Cat Audio’s Patchwork plugin is essentially a VST host from within your DAW. This principle is simple. The Patchwork plugin can load in your DAWs plugin format, which for Protools 12 is AAX. From within the plugin you can then load VST plugins. The process isn’t long winded and is a s easy as it is to load an AAX plugin. The Patchwork plugin does much more than just load VST’s. It can also be used top create complex signal chain all from within a single plugin. In the video below we show you how a VST is loaded within Protools and go through the steps required to do so.
