In this video I discuss a sensitive subject on the loudness war we as mastering engineers have to face on a daily basis. Some clients will request a crazy loud master that will have a negative effect on the overall quality of the song. Whilst I find this crazy and ridiculous I do understand why some clients want this kind of loudness when mastering.
